As of the decision on whether the defendant was guilty or not I feel they they made the wrong decision. The defendant was accused of violating the girls 4th amendment which is true. The school had the right to search her locker and when she responded yes to checking her bag they were allowed to do that too. However as soon as they de-clothed her and strip searched her that was a total violation of her privacy and the 4th amendment. Also the fact that this girl was under aged, only 13 years old, i mean it seems totally immoral to do that any way. Especial since the police or even the girls parents were not called to be informed of the situation. The only way i feel the school had the right to do this was if the girl was putting all of, or a large part, of the school in danger by possessing a more sever item such as a gun. Only then i believe the 4th amendment would be allowed to be "over looked".
