I feel that the Safford vs Redding case ended correctly. Neither side should have been affected because they both made certain mistakes. On Savana Redding's part, she should have not brought drugs and a knife into school in the first place. She also should have defended herself before the school tried to strip her. I understand that she was at a young age, but I feel that it required only a piece of common sense to realize that they are not allowed to do that. On Safford High School's part, they had absolutely no right to strip her without the approval of her parents. Therefore, neither party should have faced consequences.
