This cartoon shows men standing in a circle pointing at each other. It says Tammany Ring under the circle of men. Also the cartoon asks "Who stole the peoples money? -Do tell". Also it says "'TWAS HIM". Some men have a serious look on their faces and some men seem to be smiling. The men in the ring are all voters of Tweed. When they are asked who stole the money they each point to the person next to them, this way no one gets caught. The Tammany Ring all stole money, and they will all get away with it because they have their little team of men. The author of this cartoon feels that the Tammany Ring was corrupt. The men who vote for Tweed get money and jobs, while the rest of the people are stolen from. The men in this cartoon are all greedy, and the author does not agree with what they are doing. The author is against Tweed and his political machine.
