During the Governor debate Buono attacked Chris Christie but failed to bring up any information to back her up. It just struck me as odd that as a potential governor she had no substantial evidence of how she would help the state. A major issue important to New Jersey citizens would be taxes, as a higher income states we would like our taxes to remain the same while still lowering property tax. Additionally, Christie brought up minimum wage, which he was in favor of increasing but not making a huge difference to the businesses giving this minimum wage raise. The only bright thing Barbara Buono said in this whole debate was that minimum wage should be raised because it is nearly impossible to live in New Jersey with such a low salary.
