Throughout the debate both Christie and Buono raised good points about each others policies. Buono often attacked Christie several times throughout the debate, but came up short. However, one interesting point she raised was regarding Christie's education cuts. She points out that this is an essential part of our state and our students should be receiving the best education possible. This point however was outweighed by Christie helping our state through countless other means. This includes not raising our taxes and actually decreasing property tax. Another valid point that Christie delivered was how he was going to raise minimum wage in New Jersey. I view this as a key aspect to our state and society. Overall, Christie will most likely get reelected due to his successful previous term and strong leadership.
