1. The lions represent important people, such as CEOs in major companies. Roosevelt is being represented as the lion tamer. 2. The lions are coming out of a door labeled "Wall St." because these important people work for companies that are part of Wall St. 3. I think that the cartoonist agrees with trustbusting because he illustrates Roosevelt "beating" the lions (a.k.a the CEOs) because they are treating the public and their competitors unfairly. This cartoon clearly depicts trustbusting.
