1. In the political cartoon, the lions are representing all of the big businesses engaging in unfair practices. The man in the middle is trying to represent President Roosevelt. Roosevelt is trying to tame all of the big businesses to protect the public interest. 2. The lions are coming out of the door labeled wall street because they are mad at Roosevelt for enacting the Sherman Antitrust Act. 3. I believe the cartoonist agrees with "trustbusting". He wants the general public to be protected which why he used the whip to show the power of Roosevelt.
