1. I think that in the political cartoon the "Lion-Tamer" the lions represent all of the big businesses that were in the United States in the 1900's.
2. All of the lions were coming out of the door labeled "Wall Street" because Wall street was a place where a lot of big businesses, and some corrupt, were located. Roosevelt pictured as the lion tamer has to focus on taming the wall street lions because they are the ones that need to be controlled the most for the benefit of the people.
3. The illustrator thinks that trust busting is a positive thing for America because he portrays the trust of the country as wild lions which are dangerous to the public's interest. If these big trust weren't tamed by Roosevelt, the illustrator feels that all of the big business would take advantage of the people.
